List Of Best-selling Music Artists In Finland
These are the lists of the music artists that have the highest certified record sales in Finland (and/or sales explicitly confirmed by Musiikkituottajat – IFPI Finland in their database). The lists consist of albums and singles (vinyl, CD, digital) and music DVDs, certified or confirmed by Musiikkituottajat. Musiikkituottajat deals in sales of digital and physical albums and singles and music DVDs. Excepting some sales figures of uncertified records given by Musiikkituottajat from the 2000s, these best-seller lists are largely based on total accumulated ''certifications'' given per artist and therefore may not reflect the true physical and digital sales obtained by these artists,—that is, the combined sales of uncertified records before the 2000s, those uncertified in and after the 2000s and certified sales of all time. Since the release of the October 3, 2007, Singles Chart, digital downloads of tracks have been included in the singles sales figures. These lists excl ...

Uusi Suomi
''Uusi Suomi'' () was a Finnish daily newspaper that was published from 1919 to 1991. The headquarters was in Helsinki, Finland. History and profile ''Uusi Suomi'' was established in 1919 as a continuation of two earlier newspapers, ''Suometar'' (1847–1866) and ''Uusi Suometar'' (1869–1919). ''Suometar'' had been primarily concerned with pursuing issues relating to the Finnish population; its successor ''Uusi Suometar'' had represented closely related Fennoman views. Two of its contributors, Linda Pylkkänen and Risto Sihtola, visited Italy in the late 1930s as guests of the Fascist government, and the paper was asked by the Italians to publish articles in favor of the Fascist rule. During the Cold War period ''Uusi Suomi'' was among the Finnish newspapers which were accused by the Soviet Union of being the instrument of US propaganda, and the Soviet embassy in Helsinki frequently protested the editors of the paper. From its foundation in 1919 to 1976 ''Uusi Suomi'' was ...

Suomen Virallinen Lista
The Official Finnish Charts (; ) are national record charts in Finland compiled and published by Musiikkituottajat – IFPI Finland. The name ''Suomen virallinen lista/Finlands officiella lista'' (lit. "the Official Finnish Chart"), which is singular in both Finnish and Swedish, is used generically to refer to both the albums and the singles chart, and the context (albums or songs) reveals which chart is meant. History The first charts were published in 1951. In January 1991, the Yle radio station Radiomafia started to compile the first weekly chart in Finland called ''Radiomafian lista'', which was broadcast on the radio every Sunday. Prior to that, all singles and album charts in Finland had been either monthly or biweekly published sales charts. ''Radiomafian lista'' became the official Finnish charts in January 1994 when they began a partnership with Suomen Ääni- ja kuvatallennetuottajat (ÄKT) (now known as Musiikkituottajat – IFPI Finland), the umbrella organizati ...
