''Chiso Manchhe'' ( ne, चिसो मान्छे; ) is a 2022 Nepali film written and directed by Dipendra K. Khanal under the banner of D.S. Digital Pvt. Ltd. It was released on June 17, 2022, and it features Arpan Thapa and Swastima Khadka in the lead roles. The filming took place in Bajura and Kathmandu. Synopsis When a Nepalese worker dies in Qatar, his wife Puspa (Swastima Khadka) and father (Desh Bhakta Khanal) travel to Kathmandu to retrieve his body. They meet a driver, Ram (Arpan Thapa) who offers to take them back to their hometown. The plot revolves around Puspa, who has spent her entire life in rural Nepal. Her journey from the city back home is the subject of the narrative. Arpan Thapa
Arpan Thapa ( ne, अर्पण थापा) (born 15 November 1978). is a Nepali actor, director, and scriptwriter. He studied acting in Mumbai in 2002 before returning to Nepal to start his career in the Nepali film industry. He sold CDs at Mahabouddha, to promote the business of a friend, where he met Murray Kerr, the director. Thapa began his acting career with the Nepali film ''Sick City'', playing the lead role as Krishna. He has directed the movie '' Mukhauta'' , which was released on 13 June 2014. Bajura District ( ne, बाजुरा जिल्ला ), a part of Sudurpashchim Province, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal. The district, with Martadi (today part of Badimalika municipality) as its district headquarters, covers an area of and had a population of 108,781 in 2001 and 134,912 in 2011. The annual rainfall is about 13,433 mm and temperatures vary from 0 °C to 40 °C.
