Chirundu-Beitbridge Regional Road Corridor
Chirundu–Beitbridge Road Corridor is a Trans-African Highway Network Zimbabwean link between South Africa and Zambia. It is part of the North–South Corridor Project and forms the entire Zimbabwean section of the Cape to Cairo Road. The North-South Multimodal Transport Corridor is under the African Union PIDA. The Programme for Infrastructure Development in Africa (PIDA) is an all-Africa program to develop a vision, policies and strategies for development of priority trans-regional and continental infrastructure, which includes transport; hence the rehabilitation of regional road corridors. The African Development Bank being the Executing Agency for the Programme. The local road corridor has two legs; the Chirundu–Harare and the Harare–Beitbridge highways. Lusaka

N1 Road (South Africa)
The N1 is a national route in South Africa that runs from Cape Town through Bloemfontein, Johannesburg, Pretoria and Polokwane to Beit Bridge on the border with Zimbabwe. It forms the first section of the famed Cape to Cairo Road. Prior to 1970, the N1 designation was applied to the route from Beit Bridge to Colesberg and then along the current N9 to George. Gweru
Gweru is a city in central Zimbabwe. Near the geographical centre of the country. It is on the centre of Midlands Province. Originally an area known to the Ndebele as "The Steep Place" because of the Gweru River's high banks, in 1894 it became the site of a military outpost established by Leander Starr Jameson. In 1914 it attained municipal status, and in 1971 it became a city. The city has a population of 158,200 as of the 2022 census. Gweru is known for farming activities in beef cattle, crop farming, and commercial gardening of crops for the export market. It is also home to a number of colleges and universities, most prominently Midlands State University and Mkoba Teachers College. The city was nicknamed City of Progress. Chegutu
Chegutu (formerly Hartley) is a town in Mashonaland West Province, Zimbabwe. Location The town is located in Chegutu District, Mashonaland West, in central northern Zimbabwe. It lies in the Hartley Hills , southwest of the capital Harare at an altitude of above sea level. Population The 1982 population census recorded 19,621 inhabitants, rising to 30,122 by 1992. Kariba, Zimbabwe
Kariba is a resort town in Mashonaland West province, Zimbabwe, located close to the Kariba Dam at the north-eastern end of Lake Kariba, near the Zambian border. According to the 2022 Population Census, the town had a population of 27,600. Located in the Zambezi Valley, Kariba is well known for its balmy climate and proximity to Lake Kariba, that draws in thousands of tourists all year round. P12 Road (Zimbabwe)
The M15 Makuti-Kariba Highway is a 2-way asphalt surface international highway from the A1 Highway at Makuti to Zambia via the Kariba Dam Wall. The maximum speed on this road is per hour. It is also a primary road P12 Highway and part of Zimbabwean trunk road system. Background The M15 road was constructed at the same time with the Kariba Dam as an access road between Zambia and Zimbabwe through the dam wall. It is by all means a loop road to the Lusaka-Harare Highway. On the Zambian side it begins from a T-junction with the T2 Highway which runs from Lusaka to Chirundu. Here it is called the Siavonga Road. On the Zimbabwean side its begins from a junction with R3/A1 Highway which runs from Harare to Chirundu at Makuti.
