Chinmoy Lahiri
Acharya Chinmoy Lahiri ( bn, আচার্য চিন্ময় লাহিড়ী) (20 March 1920 – 17 August 1984) was an Indian vocalist from Bengal in the Hindustani classical tradition. He is known for the ''Khayal'' form of singing, as well as for his popular renditions of ''Dhrupad'', ''Thumri'' and ''Tappa'', along with Bengali ''Raga-pradhan'' songs. Early life Archrya Chinmoy Lahiri was born in a ''Zamindar'' family of ''Tantibandh'', Pabna district, in the undivided India under British rule. His father Jeeb Chandra Lahiri was a civil engineer, an alumnus of Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, and his mother's name was Sarajubala Debi. Suchitra Sen ( ; born as Roma Dasgupta (; 6 April 1931 – 17 January 2014) was an Indian actress who worked in Bengali and Hindi cinema. The movies in which she was paired opposite Uttam Kumar became classics in the history of Bengali cinema. Sen was the first Indian actress to receive an award at an international film festival when, at the 1963 Moscow International Film Festival, she won the Silver Prize for Best Actress for ''Saat Pake Bandha''. Chhabi Biswas (''Chabi Biśbās'') (13 July 1900 – 11 June 1962) was an Indian actor, primarily known for his performances in Tapan Sinha's '' Kabuliwala'' and Satyajit Ray's films ''Jalshaghar'' (''The Music Room'', 1958), ''Devi'' (''The Goddess'', 1960) and '' Kanchenjungha'' (1962).
