China–Oman relations refers to the bilateral relations between People's Republic of China and Sultanate of Oman. History During the Dhofar Rebellion, China supported the Popular Front for the Liberation of Oman. The two countries established diplomatic relations on May 25, 1978. Wang Yong (born 1957)
Wang Yong (; born February 1957) is a former Chinese politician who spent his entire career in both Shandong and Hainan provinces. He was investigated by China's top anti-graft agency in July 2020. Previously he served as vice-chairman of the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). He entered the workforce in January 1973, and joined the Chinese Communist Party in July 1976. He was a delegate to the 12th National People's Congress. Fahd Bin Mahmoud Al Said
Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al-Said (; born 1944) is the Deputy Prime Minister of Oman, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers in the Sultanate of Oman. He has served in this post since 23 June 1972. He has a degree in commerce from University of Cairo. He was appointed director of ministry of foreign affairs in 1971, appointed as minister of state in November 1971 and minister of information and culture in December 1972. Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi (Arabic: بدر البوسعيدي; born 30 May 1960) is the Foreign Minister of Oman. He has represented Oman in regional and international meetings, which include the United Nations. Personal life Early life Badr was born in Muscat on 30 May 1960. He is the second son of Sayyid Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi, who worked under Sultan Said bin Taimur and Sultan Qaboos bin Said. It serves as the primary multilateral coordination mechanism between China and the Arab states. Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah (, born 1945) is an Omani politician. He was the Sultanate of Oman's Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs. It is important to clarify that "Ministers in Responsibility" were previously appointed as the Sultan was intended to hold the official position of "Minister of Foreign Affairs" himself. Early life Yusuf bin Alawi studied and worked in Kuwait. In 1970 he met Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said for the first time, shortly after his take-over. Alawi had been a dissident and associated with a Dhofar Rebellion, Dhofar secession movement against the current Sultan's father. Wei Fenghe (; born February 1954) is a retired general ('' shang jiang'') in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) who served as commander of the PLA Rocket Force, formerly known as the Second Artillery Corps.
