China-CELAC Forum
The China-CELAC Forum ( zh, 中国—拉共体论坛, ) is a multilateral cooperation mechanism established in January 2015 between the China, People's Republic of China and the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), comprising 33 member states. It serves as the primary platform for advancing political dialogue, economic collaboration, and cultural exchanges between China and the region. Perry Gladstone Christie PC, MP (born 21 August 1943) is a Bahamian former politician who served as prime minister of the Bahamas from 2002 to 2007 and from 2012 to 2017. Maxine Pamela Ometa McClean is a Barbadian politician who served as her country's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2008 to 2018. Biography McClean is a graduate of the University of the West Indies. While she was there she received second class honors in Public Administration. McClean was also a lecturer in the Department of Management Studies. In 1999, she established her own consulting firm. A few years later, in January 2008, Maxine was invited to join the Barbados Cabinet as a minister in the Prime Minister's office. Ricardo Armando Patiño Aroca (born 16 May 1954) is an Ecuadorian politician who has served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador from 2010 until 2016, under the government of President Rafael Correa.
