Michael Guider
Michael Anthony Guider (20 October 1950 – 7 September 2024) was an Australian paedophile, serial child molester and child killer who was imprisoned on 60 charges of child sexual abuse in 1996. He received an additional sentence in 2002 for the manslaughter of 9-year-old Sydney girl Samantha Knight, who disappeared from Bondi, New South Wales in 1986. Guider was released from prison on 5 September 2019, under strict conditions and an extended supervision order. He died on 7 September 2024, at the age of 73. He was a school teacher by profession, working for the Marist Brothers, a Catholic religious order. Dunn taught science at Marist Catholic College Penshurst from 1971 to 1987. He began a 20-year jail sentence in 2001 for 24 sexual offences occurring between 1985 and 1995. In 1996, a Royal Commission chaired by Justice James Woods was shown home videos and photographs from Dunn's collection, which included many images of child sex abuse, usually featuring Dunn himself as the perpetrator. Stephen Grant Randell (born 19 February 1956) is a former Australian Test cricket match umpire, the first to come from Tasmania. He was convicted in 1999 of 15 counts of sexual assault against nine schoolgirls of ages 10–12 while teaching at a Catholic primary school between 1981 and 1982. Gerald Ridsdale
Gerald Francis Ridsdale (20 May 1934 – 18 February 2025) was an Australian laicised Catholic priest and prolific sex offender. He was convicted between 1993 and 2017 of a large number of child sexual abuse and indecent assault charges against 65 children aged as young as four years. The majority of the offences occurred from the 1960s to the 1980s while Ridsdale worked as a school chaplain at St Alipius Primary School, a boys' boarding school in the Victorian regional city of Ballarat.
