Enrico Credendino (born 21 January 1963) is an officer of the Italian Navy. He was appointed Chief of the Italian Navy in November 2021. Valter Girardelli
Admiral Valter Girardelli (born Rovereto, 22 July 1955) is a retired Italian Naval officer who served as Chief of the Italian Navy from 2016 to 2019. He joined the navy in 1975 and graduated from the Naval Academy in 1978. He served aboard various ships as an Operations officer. He commanded the ITS ''Giuseppe Garibaldi'' from 2000 to 2002. In 2004 he was appointed to flag rank and held various posts ashore. He was promoted to Vice admiral in 2013 and appointed Deputy Secretary of Defence before becoming Chief of the Cabinet of the Minister of Defence in March 2015. On 22 June 2016 he was appointed Chief of the Italian Navy. He retired in 2019. Luigi Mario Binelli Mantelli (born 4 December 1950) is an Italian admiral. He was Chief of Staff of the Italian Navy from 2 March 2012 to 28 January 2013 and Chief of the Defence Staff of Italy from 31 January 2013 to 28 February 2015. In 1995 he took part to the United Nations Operations in Somalia II (UNOSOM II). Binelli Mantelli attended the Francesco Morosini Naval School in Venice, Italy and the Italian Naval Academy in Livorno where he graduated with the rank of navy guard in 1973. Bruno Branciforte
Bruno Branciforte (born 6 November 1947) is an Italian admiral. He was Chief of Staff of the Italian Navy from 23 February 2010 to 2 March 2012 and he succeeded to Nicolò Pollari as the last head of the Italian Military Intelligence and Security Service (SISMI), nominated by Prime Minister Romano Prodi, from 21 November to 2006 to 3 August 2007 when the Agency was dissolved and transformed into the Italian External Intelligence and Security Agency (AISE). He was also the first director of AISE from 4 August 2007 to 4 February 2010.
