Paula Schopf is a Chilean electronic music producer and DJ, born in Santiago, Chile in 1970. Sister of musician and producer Dandy Jack (Martin Schopf) and DJ Adrian (Adrian Schopf), she has developed her own career as a DJ and producer in both Chile and Germany under the name "Chica Paula". Biography Paula Schopf was born in Santiago, Chile. The daughter of academics Federico Schopf and Marta Caballero Santacruz, Paula and her family were exiled to Frankfurt Germany when she was three years old after the coup d'état of 1973 and the political persecution that followed. Paula returned to Chile at the age of seven though her brothers and father stayed in Germany. The Festival Internacional de Benicàssim (), commonly abbreviated as FIB, is an annual music festival that takes place in the town of Benicàssim, in the Valencian Community, Spain. Sun Electric is a German electronic music group, hailing from Berlin. Their first release was the single "O'Locco" on the Wau! Mr. Modo label in 1990, with numerous subsequent releases on the R&S / Apollo labels throughout the following decade. Tresor (German for safe or vault) is a techno nightclub in Berlin and a record label. History The club was founded in March 1991 in the vaults of the former department store Wertheim (department store), Wertheim at Leipziger Strasse 126-128 in Mitte, the central part of East Berlin, next to the Potsdamer Platz. The history of the club goes back to 1988 when the electronic music label Interfisch opened the ''Ufo (Club, Berlin), Ufo Club'' in Berlin. Ufo was the original centre of Berlin house music, house and techno, but due to financial problems that club closed in 1990. After Ufo closed, Interfisch's head, Dimitri Hegemann, and some investors in the club found the new space in East Berlin.
