Chiara Colosimo (born 2 June 1986) is an Italian politician of Brothers of Italy party. She was elected member of the Chamber of Deputies (Italy), Chamber of Deputies in 2022 Italian general election, 2022. Since 2023, she has chaired the Antimafia Commission. Life She studied political science at Luiss University, LUISS Guido Carli in Rome . She was elected to the regional council of Lazio and then to the Chamber of Deputies (Italy), Chamber of Deputies, as a member of the Brothers of Italy. The Chamber of Deputies () is the lower house of the bicameral Italian Parliament, the upper house being the Senate of the Republic. The two houses together form a perfect bicameral system, meaning they perform identical functions, but do so separately. The Antimafia Commission () is a bicameral commission of the Italian Parliament, composed of members from the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Republic. The first commission, formed in 1963, was established as a body of inquiry tasked with investigating the "phenomenon of the icilianMafia".
