The Asian Tour is the principal men's professional golf tour in Asia except for Japan, which has its own Japan Golf Tour, which is also a full member of the International Federation of PGA Tours. Official money events on the tour count for World Golf Ranking points. The Asian Tour is administered from Singapore. It is controlled by a board with a majority of professional golfers, and a Tournament Players Committee of its player members, supported by an executive team. Stroke Play
Stroke play, also known as medal play, is a scoring system in the sport of golf in which the total number of strokes is counted over one or more rounds of 18 holes. In stroke play, the winner is the player who has taken the fewest strokes over the course of the round, or rounds. Scott Hend
Scott Robert Hend (born 1973) is an Australian professional golfer who has played on a number of the world's main tours. He is renowned as a long hitter. Professional career Hend turned professional in 1997 and joined the PGA Tour of Australasia. He has since played on most of the major golf tours around the world. He has won three times in Australia, and was the inaugural winner of the Von Nida Tour Order of Merit in 2003. He has also won on the Canadian Tour, at the 2002 Victoria Open. Hend played on the United States-based PGA Tour in 2004 and 2005, having gained his card at qualifying school for both seasons. In 2005, he was the first foreign player to win the 'Long Drive' statistic on the PGA Tour. Rashid Khan (golfer)
Rashid Khan (born 15 February 1991) is an Indian professional golfer. As an amateur, Khan played on the Indian team that won the silver medal at the 2010 Asian Games. Khan turned professional later that year and has played on the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) since 2011. He finished third on the Order of Merit (money list) in 2011, second in 2012, and first in 2013. He has won four times on the PGTI. Khan began playing on the Asian Tour in 2012. Golf is a club-and-ball sport in which players use various clubs to hit balls into a series of holes on a course in as few strokes as possible. Thanyakon Khrongpha
Thanyakon Khrongpha (Some sources Thanyakorn)(; born 3 June 1990) is a Thai professional golfer. Khrongpha was a successful amateur, winning gold at the Southeast Asian Games, before turning professional in 2010. He promptly won his first professional tournament on the Asian Development Tour at the Kariza Classic in Indonesia. At the end of the year Khrongpha came through the qualifying school to earn a card for the full Asian Tour. In his first season on the main tour, Khrongpha made 13 of 14 cuts and finished 52nd on the Order of Merit, enough to retain his card for 2012. Jyotinder Singh Randhawa (born 4 May 1972) is an Indian professional golfer. He plays on the Asian Tour where he won eight times between 1998 and 2009. He was ranked in the top 100 of the Official World Golf Ranking several times between 2004 and 2009. Professional career Randhawa turned professional in 1994. He played on the Asian Tour, having played on the European Tour from 2005 to 2010. In 2002, he finished top on the Asian Tour money list. He has finished second on the European Tour three times; the 2002 BMW Asian Open, the 2004 Johnnie Walker Classic and the 2007 Open de España. Bryce Easton
Bryce Easton (born 5 September 1987) is a South African professional golfer who plays on the Challenge Tour and the Sunshine Tour. Easton was born in Durban. He joined the Sunshine Tour in 2011 and finished in 46th on the Order of Merit in his rookie season. On 26 May 2012, he picked up his first win on Tour at the Sun City Challenge.
