Chhattisgarh Air link was a private non-scheduled airline based in Chhattisgarh, India. It was a subsidiary of Chhattisgarh Aviation Academy. It flew non-scheduled and scheduled flights operated on a charter and individual ticket basis. The airline started operations in December 2012. As of April 2019, the airline's website is defunct. Swami Vivekananda International Airport (referred as VARP until February 2018), formerly known as Mana Airport, is a major airport serving the state of Chhattisgarh, India. Veer Surendra Sai Airport , also known as Jharsuguda Airport, is a domestic airport serving Jharsuguda, Odisha, India. The airport is located north-east from the city centre. The airport is located in Durlaga, approximately from Jharsuguda Junction Railway Station. Named after the revolutionary, Veer Surendra Sai, the airport is the second commercial airport in the state of Odisha. History The airfield was used during World War II by the RAF and other Allied Forces to counter Indian freedom fighters led by Subhas Chandra Bose. Jagdalpur Airport
Jagdalpur Airport , also known as Maa Danteswari Airport, is a regional airport located near Jagdalpur, in the state of Chhattisgarh, India. The Airports Authority of India (AAI) conducted a pre-feasibility study in July 2013 for development of the airport and approved of operations of aircraft under Visual Flight Rules (VFR) conditions. The airport was chosen for an upgrade under the Government's UDAN scheme and the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a terminal building was performed in January 2017. The airfield was upgraded to 3C category in 2019, allowing the operations of ATR-72 type of aircraft. On 21 September 2020, Alliance Air started flights to Hyderabad and Raipur using an ATR-72 aircraft. Currently, Jagdalpur airport name changed to Maa Danteshwari Airport on 21 September 2020.
