Chhattisgarh
Chhattisgarh (; ) is a landlocked States and union territories of India, state in Central India. It is the List of states and union territories of India by area, ninth largest state by area, and with a population of roughly 30 million, the List of states and union territories of India by population, seventeenth most populous. It borders seven states – Uttar Pradesh to the north, Madhya Pradesh to the northwest, Maharashtra to the southwest, Jharkhand to the northeast, Odisha to the east, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to the south. Formerly a part of Madhya Pradesh, it was granted statehood on Chhattisgarh Rajyotsava, 1 November 2000 with Raipur as the designated state capital. At the time of separation from Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh originally had 16 districts. Two new districts: Bijapur and Narayanpur were carved out on 11 May 2007 and nine new districts on 1 Jan 2012. The Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly or the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha is the unicameral state legislature of Chhattisgarh state in India. The seat of the Vidhan Sabha is at Raipur, the capital of the state. The Vidhan Sabha comprises 90 Members of Legislative Assembly, which include 90 members directly elected from single-seat constituencies. Its term is 5 years, unless sooner dissolved. Vishnudeo Sai
Vishnu Deo Sai (born 21 February 1964) is an Indian politician currently serving as the 4th Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. He is the first senior tribal leader in Central India. Sai is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He currently represents Kunkuri in Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. Bailadila Range, is a mountain range rising in the Deccan Plateau about 200 km west of the Eastern Ghats. It has been named 'Bailadila' because it resembles the hump of an ox.
