Chet Holifield Federal Building
The Chet Holifield Federal Building, colloquially known as "the Ziggurat Building", is a United States government building in Laguna Niguel, California. It was built between 1968 and 1971 for North American Aviation/Rockwell International, and designed by William Pereira. Since 1974 it has been owned and managed by the General Services Administration. National Archives and Records Administration had holdings for the Pacific region stored here, but has since moved to another location. Primary tenants are now regional offices of the United States Department of Homeland Security and the Internal Revenue Service. Postmodern Architecture
Postmodern architecture is a style or movement which emerged in the 1960s as a reaction against the austerity, formality, and lack of variety of modern architecture, particularly in the International Style (architecture), international style advocated by Philip Johnson and Henry-Russell Hitchcock. Chester E
Chester is a cathedral city in Cheshire, England, on the River Dee, close to the England–Wales border. With a built-up area population of 92,760 in 2021, it is the most populous settlement in the borough of Cheshire West and Chester. It is also the historic county town of Cheshire and the second-largest settlement in Cheshire after Warrington. Chester was founded in 79 AD as a "castrum" or Roman fort with the name Deva Victrix during the reign of Emperor Vespasian.
