Cheryl Kullman
Cheryl Bernard (born June 30, 1966) is a Canadians, Canadian curling, curler from Calgary, Alberta. She represented Team Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics as the team's skip (curling), skip, winning the silver medal in Curling at the 2010 Winter Olympics – Women's tournament, women's curling after falling to Sweden in the final. Her first major tournament win came at the 2009 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials in Edmonton, Alberta. She also represented Canada again at the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang as the alternate for Rachel Homan's team. Career Early career Bernard was born in Grande Prairie, Alberta. She began curling at the age of eight. Susan O'Connor
''For the Australian archaeologist, see'' Sue O'Connor. Susan O'Connor (born May 3, 1977) is a Canadians, Canadian curling, curler from Calgary, Alberta. She is an Olympic silver medallist. She is the current coach of the Ashley Thevenot rink. Career In 2000, O'Connor played third for Kevin Koe at the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship. The team, which also included Greg Northcott and Lawnie MacDonald, won the championship. In 2007, O'Connor won her first provincial championship playing third for Cheryl Bernard, and represented Team Alberta at the 2007 Scotties Tournament of Hearts. They again represented Alberta at the Scotties in 2009 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, 2009. 2009 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials
The 2009 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials were held December 6–13, 2009 at Rexall Place in Edmonton. The event is also known and advertised as ''Roar of the Rings''. The winner of the men's and women's events represented Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics. Canada was guaranteed a team in each event as hosts. Canadian Olympic qualification process For both men's and women's categories, a pool of sixteen teams is designated as eligible to be Canada's representative at the 2010 Olympics. From the pool of sixteen, four teams are selected to qualify directly for the 2009 Canadian Curling Trials, "The 2009 Roar of the Rings". In the sport of curling, the skip is the Captain (sports), captain of a team. The skip determines strategy, and holds the Curling#Curling broom, broom in the ''house'' (target area) to indicate where a teammate at the other end of the curling ''sheet'' (playing area) should aim the stone. The skip usually throws the last two stones in the fourth position, but may play in any other position. Sometimes "skipper" is used; it can also be abbreviated as "S".
