Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is the franchise cricket team based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, which has been playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since the first edition of the tournament in 2008. They were one of the eight teams to compete in the 2021 Indian Premier League. The Super Kings have previously lifted the IPL title thrice (in 2010, 2011 and 2018). 2021 Indian Premier League
The 2021 Indian Premier League, also known as IPL 14, or for sponsorship reasons, Vivo IPL 2021, was the fourteenth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), a professional Twenty20 cricket league established by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in 2007. The tagline was ''Asli Picture Abhi Baaki Hai'' (Now the original picture will come). Mumbai Indians were the two-time defending champions. Ahead of the tournament, Kings XI Punjab were renamed as the Punjab Kings. In March 2021, the BCCI announced the fixtures for the tournament. The tournament started on 9 April. However, on 4 May, the tournament was suspended indefinitely, after a rise in COVID-19 cases within the bio bubbles of some teams. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are a franchise cricket team representing the city of Kolkata in the Indian Premier League. The franchise is owned by Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, actress Juhi Chawla and her spouse Jay Mehta. The Knight Riders play at the Eden Gardens stadium. Mohammad Imran Tahir ( pa, ; born 27 March 1979) is a South African former international cricketer. KM Asif (born 24 July 1993) is an Indian cricketer who represents Kerala in domestic cricket and Chennai Super Kings in Indian Premier League (IPL). He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium pacer. Early life Asif's father was a daily wager while his mother was a homemaker. His younger brother is intellectually disabled and his younger sister has challenges after suffering a brain injury during her formative years. He has been mentored by Biju George. Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja (born 6 December 1988), commonly known as Ravindra Jadeja, is an Indian international cricketer.
