Chen Wu-hsiung
Chen Wu-hsiung (; born 11 March 1944) is a Taiwanese agricultural economist. He was the Minister of the Council of Agriculture of the Executive Yuan from 2008 to 2012. Education Chen graduated from National Chung Hsing University in 1966 with a degree in agricultural economics, then earned a master's degree in the subject from the university in 1970. He completed advanced studies in the United States, where he earned his Ph.D. in agricultural economics from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. In 1981, he obtained a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) from National Chengchi University. Council of Agriculture As part of a public service career spanning four decades, Chen was deputy minister of the Council of Agriculture from 1999 to 2002. Chen Chun (; born 13 October 1949), also known as Sean Chen in English, is a Taiwanese politician and lawyer who was the third Premier of the Republic of China (Taiwan) of the Ma Ying-jeou government. Liu Chao-shiuan
Liu Chao-shiuan (; born 10 May 1943) is a Taiwanese chemist and politician. He is a former president of the National Tsing Hua University (1987–1993) and Soochow University (2004–2008) and a former Premier of the Republic of China (2008–2009). Early life and education Liu was born in Changsha, Hunan, in 1943. His family moved to Taiwan during the Great Retreat. After graduating from the Affiliated Senior High School of National Taiwan Normal University, he studied chemistry at National Taiwan University and graduated with his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in 1965.
