Chen Chien-jen Cabinet
The following is the cabinet of Chen Chien-jen, who was appointed as Premier of Taiwan on 31 January 2023 by President Tsai Ing-wen. He succeeded Su Tseng-chang, who had resigned in response to the Democratic Progressive Party's poor performance in the 2022 Taiwanese local elections. The Vice President of the Republic of China, vice president from 2016 to 2020, he is the second oldest individual to take office (after Lee Huan) at 71 years and 239 days. This is the 4th premiership of Tsai Ing-wen's Presidency of Tsai Ing-wen, presidency. Chen Chien-jen
Chen Chien-jen (; born 6 June 1951) is a Taiwanese epidemiologist, geneticist, and politician who served as Vice President of Taiwan from 2016 to 2020 and Premier of Taiwan from 2023 to 2024 under President Tsai Ing-wen. After earning a doctorate from Johns Hopkins University in the United States, Chen was a medical researcher and joined the Chen Shui-bian presidential administration in 2003 as leader of the Department of Health, serving through 2005. He later headed the National Science Council between 2006 and 2008. Chen then served as a vice president of Academia Sinica from 2011 to 2015. Later that year, Chen joined Tsai Ing-wen on the Democratic Progressive Party presidential ticket and served as Vice President of Taiwan from 2016 to 2020. Joseph Wu
Wu Jaushieh (; born October 31, 1954), also known by his English name Joseph Wu, is a Taiwanese political scientist and diplomat currently serving as secretary-general of the National Security Council since 2024. He was formerly the foreign minister from 2018 to 2024 and secretary-general to the presidential office of Tsai Ing-wen from 2017 to 2018. Wu graduated from National Chengchi University, and completed advanced studies in the United States at the University of Missouri and Ohio State University, where he earned a PhD. Lin Yu-chang (; born 10 March 1971) is a Taiwanese people, Taiwanese politician who is the Secretary-General of the Democratic Progressive Party since June 2024. Li Meng-yen (; born 12 December 1966) is a Taiwanese politician and engineer. He has served as the minister of Transportation and Communications from May to August 2024 and secretary-general of the Executive Yuan from January 2019 to May 2024.
