Chee Kim Thong
Chee Kim Thong (; 1920–2001) was a Shaolin martial arts grandmaster. Chee was born on 19 May 1920 in a village near Putian, Fujian, China. The son of You Yuan, a Fujianese merchant, Grandmaster Chee Kim Thong's apprenticeship to Chinese martial arts began as a child. His natural ability, combined with a family tradition of excelling in the martial arts – his grandmother was a recognised master of Monkey Boxing ( Hou Quan) - prepared him well for the traditional Lei Tai contests. He won many titles in these provincial tournaments. Shaolin Martial Arts
Shaolin Kung Fu (), also called Shaolin Wushu (), or Shaolin quan (), is one of the oldest, largest, and most famous styles of wushu, or kung fu of Chan Buddhism. It combines Ch'an philosophy and martial arts and originated and was developed in the Shaolin Temple in Henan province, Greater China during its 1500-year history. Popular sayings in Chinese folklore related to this practice include "All martial arts under heaven originated from Shaolin" and "Shaolin kung fu is the best under heaven," indicating the influence of Shaolin kung fu among martial arts. Second Sino-Japanese War
The Second Sino-Japanese War (1937–1945) or War of Resistance (Chinese term) was a military conflict that was primarily waged between the Republic of China and the Empire of Japan. The war made up the Chinese theater of the wider Pacific Theater of the Second World War. Luohan Ru Yi Quan
Luohan Ru Yi Quan Hanyu Pinyin literally ‘Luohan “As You Wish” Fist’. This set altogether has 108 different hand techniques, and includes the Dazun 9 Yang Gong,Shaolin martial art. It should not be confused with the much better known Eighteen Luóhàn [or Arhat ] Boxing System. Putian or Putien (, Putian dialect: ''Pó-chéng''), also known as Puyang (莆阳) and Puxian (莆仙), historically known as Xinghua or Hing Hwa (), is a prefecture-level city in eastern Fujian province, China. ''Wujiquan'' (Chinese "無極拳"; Pinyin "Wujiquan"; Wade-Giles "Wu Chi Chuan" ), known as the "Ultimate Void Boxing" or "A Rare and Secret Ultimate Void Boxing Skill" and "Mother Art of Tai Chi," is a Chinese martial art.
