Adel Chedli
Adel Ben-Bechir Chedli ( ar, عادل الشاذلي, born 16 September 1976) is a former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Born in France, he represented Tunisia at international level. Club career Born in La Ricamarie, Loire, France, Chedli joined AS Saint-Étienne and broke into the first team in 1996. In 1997, he was transferred to FC Sochaux for whom he played several years in the Ligue 1. It was during that time that also earned his first cap for the Tunisian national team. Before his move to Germany Chedli played for FC Istres. He left the club on a free transfer after they had been relegated to Ligue 2 after playing in 88 games. At Nürnberg, Chedli had a rough first year and a hard time breaking into the first squad, at the end of the season he had played in only six Bundesliga matches and was at times demoted to the club's Bayernliga reserve team. Chedli Klibi
Chedli Klibi ( ar, الشاذلي القليبي; September 6, 1925 – May 13, 2020) was a Tunisian politician. He was Secretary General of the Arab League, and the only non-Egyptian to hold the post. Early life Mr. Klibi graduated with a Baccalaureat de l'Enseignement Secondaire in philosophy from Sadiki College in 1944. After graduate work at the Pantheon-Sorbonne University where he earned a degree in Arabic language and literature in 1947. Having mastered the Arabic and French languages, he lectured at the Institut des Hautes Etudes and the Ecole Normale Superieure. Career After becoming Director General of Radio Tunis in 1958, he became the Tunisian Minister of Cultural Affairs (1961 - 1970, 1971 - 1973, 1976 - 1978) under the chairmanship of Habib Bourguiba, then chief of staff to the president from 1974 to 1976 before being Minister of Information from 1978 to 1979. Stade Chedli Zouiten
Stade Chedly Zouiten is a multi-purpose stadium in the Mutuelleville district of Tunis, Tunisia. It is currently used by football team Stade Tunisien. The stadium holds 18,000 people. It hosted the 1965 Africa Cup of Nations. It was renovated for two meetings of the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations. Long the main stadium in the capital, it was supplanted by the Stade El Menzah in 1967 and then by the Stade 7 November of Radès in 2001, both larger and more modern. Name It was named as Stade Géo André, who was a French sportsman killed by German forces during the Tunisian campaign of World War II, before being renamed in honour of Chedly Zouiten, a figure of Tunisian football and a relative of President Habib Bourguiba after the independence of Tunisia from France.
