The Chechen National Army (, ; ) or Chechen Armed Forces are the united militarized formations of the former de facto Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. On October 15, 2022, the Armed Forces of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria were officially resurrected in Ukraine by the Government of Ichkeria in exile, with a center being on the units contributing to the Chechen involvement in the Russian invasion of Ukraine, such as Separate Special Purpose Battalion, which has seen combat in Bakhmut and Belgorod. The Tupolev Tu-134 (NATO reporting name: Crusty) is a twin-engined, narrow-body jet airliner built in the Soviet Union for short and medium-haul routes from 1966 to 1989. Dzhokhar Dudayev Battalion
The Dzhokhar Dudayev Chechen Peacekeeping Battalion () is a Chechen volunteer battalion named after the first President of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Dzhokhar Dudayev. The battalion is made up of Chechen volunteers, many of whom fought in the First Chechen War and Second Chechen War on the side of the Republic of Ichkeria, Ingush, Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians. The battalion has been under the command of Adam Osmayev since 1 February 2015, after Isa Munayev was killed in action at the Battle of Debaltseve in Eastern Ukraine. Caucasian Front (militant Group)
The Caucasian Front (), also known as Caucasus Front or the Caucasian Mujahideen, established in May 2005 as an Islamic structural unit of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria's armed forces by the decree of the fourth president of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, Abdul-Halim Sadulayev. In September 2006, Ali Taziev was appointed as the emir and commander-in-chief of the Caucasian Front by Dokka Umarov. Aslan Maskhadov
Aslan (Khalid) Aliyevich Maskhadov (; ; 21 September 1951 – 8 March 2005) was a Soviet and Chechen politician and military commander who was the third president of the unrecognized Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. He was credited by many with the Chechen victory in the First Chechen War, which allowed for the establishment of the ''de facto'' independent Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. Maskhadov was elected President of Ichkeria, President of Chechnya in January 1997. Following the start of the Second Chechen War in August 1999, he returned to leading the guerrilla warfare, guerrilla Resistance movement, resistance against the Russian army.
