ChechenAvto ( ce, ChechenAuto) (russian: Чеченавто) is a Chechen automobile manufacturer based in Argun, Chechen Republic. Established as a machine-building plant in 1960, it acquired its current status in 2008. It was known as Pishchemash until 1991, and was part of the Malyshev Factory industrial group. The first vehicles came out of the plant in 2009, but it was closed the following year for modernization, with production resuming in 2011. The yearly output was initially projected at 50,000 vehicles, but only 6,700 cars were produced in 2016. In 2014 it was reported that cars produced in the plant have a poor reputation for quality, which is said to be lower compared to AvtoVAZ cars manufactured elsewhere. AvtoVAZ ( rus, АвтоВАЗ, p=ɐftoˈvas) is a Russian automobile manufacturing company owned by the state. It was formerly named as VAZ ( rus, ВАЗ), an acronym for Volga Automotive Plant in Russian (russian: Во́лжский автомоби́льный заво́д, Vólzhskiy avtomobíl'nyy zavód, link=no). AvtoVAZ is best known for its flagship series of Lada vehicles. In the Soviet Union, its products used various names, including Zhiguli, Oka, and Sputnik, which were phased out in the 1990s and replaced by Lada for the Russian market. The Malyshev Factory ( uk , Завод імені В.О. Малишева, translit=Zavod imeni V.O. Malysheva; abbreviated ), formerly the Kharkov Locomotive Factory (, ), is a state-owned manufacturer of heavy equipment in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Lada Priora
The Lada Priora is a compact car produced by the Russian automaker AvtoVAZ since March 2007. It is largely a restyled and modernised Lada 110 and replaced it in 2009. By May 16, 2012, 590,000 Prioras had been produced. Starting model year 2016, the Priora is not available for export market and has been replaced by Lada Vesta (but is still available domestically). July 16, 2018 in the network appeared a photo of the last body LADA Priora in the welding shop of the car factory, decorated with colored balloons and covered with a poster with the inscription "Последний!" The Lada Granta (russian: Ла́да Гра́нта) is a subcompact car developed by Russian automaker AvtoVAZ in collaboration with Renault, based on the Lada Kalina platform. Mass sales started in Russia on 1 December 2011. Additional production at the Izhevsk plant began in September 2012, after the old VAZ-2107 was removed from production. A five-door hatchback variant, aimed at replacing the discontinued Lada Samara 2 series in the line-up, debuted in 2014. The Lada Granta was the best-selling car model in Russia from 2013 to 2015.
