Chayito Valdez
María del Rosario Valdez Campos (28 May 1945 – 19 June 2016), known professionally as Chayito Valdez, was a Mexican singer and actress from Sinaloa. She was associated with and contributed to the folk music of Mexico. Biography Valdez was born in Orba, Guasave Municipality, Sinaloa. She started her music career at an early age participating in amateur competitions with songs such as "La Cigarra", "Historia de un amor", " La Bikina", and "Leña de Pirul". Her godmother was Amalia Mendoza, a successful singer known as "La Tariácuri", and in the early 1970s, she recorded four songs the Sinaloan city of Los Mochis: "Besos y Copas", "Una Noche me Embriagué", "Una Sombra", and "Amor que Muere", which earned her a reputation as a Mexican folk singer. HIJOS is a recursive acronym for Hijas e Hijos por la Identidad y la Justicia contra el Olvido y el Silencio (English: ''Daughters and Sons for Identity and Justice Against Forgetfulness and Silence''). It is the name of two organizations founded by children of people who were forcibly "disappeared" by military dictatorships in Argentina and Guatemala. The Argentine organization was founded in 1995 in Córdoba and La Plata. The Guatemalan organization, founded in 1999 and based in Guatemala City, has received many death threats from government sympathizers. Zacazonapan (film)
Zacazonapan (pronounced sah-kah-soh-NAH-pahn) is a municipality near Mexico City. It's municipal seat is the village of Zacazonapan. The name comes from Nahuatl and roughly translates to "in the River of the Dry Corn plants" The village The area was settled by the Matlatzincas who were conquered by the Aztecs, making the area a border zone between the Aztec Empire and Purépecha lands. After the fall of the Aztec Empire by the Spaniards, the area was subdued by Andrés de Tapia and Gonzalo de Sandoval. They, among other conquistadors they exploited the area's mineral deposits making it part of the “Real de Minas de Temascaltepec” (today Valle de Bravo). Large haciendas dedicated to growing crops and raising cattle were established here as well. Plot The criminal brothers El Bedoja and Chiuchi have each their own gang. Together they rob a stagecoach. After they've just got rid of all witnesses by killing the passengers, they are already about to plan the next coup together. This time they want to do the bank of Mallintown. Its safe is considered unbreakable but it does open automatically shortly at certain times. The two gang leaders use the stagecoach as a kind of Trojan Horse to get gang members unrecognised into the town and moreover to have a big chest put into the strongroom.
