Chayanta Province
Chayanta is a province in the northern parts of the Bolivian Potosí Department. Its capital is Colquechaca. Location Chayanta province is one of sixteen provinces in the Potosí Department. It is located between 18° 23' and 19° 6' South and between 65° 23' and 66° 19' West. It borders Charcas Province in the north, Rafael Bustillo Province in the northwest, Oruro Department in the west, Tomás Frías Province in the south, Cornelio Saavedra Province in the southeast, and Chuquisaca Department in the east. The province extends over 125 km from east to west and 100 km from north to south. Cornelio Saavedra Province
Cornelio Saavedra is a province in the north-eastern parts of the Bolivian Potosí Department. The capital of the province is Betanzos with 4,168 inhabitants in the year 2001.National Institute of Statistics of Bolivia

Tomás Katari
Tomás Katari or Catari (died January 15, 1781) was an Aymara peasant and cacique of northern Potosí who led a popular uprising in Upper Peru (present-day Bolivia) in the late 18th century. Conditions Before Rebellion During the 1770s, the economic and political stability of the Macha community in Upper Peru was continuously disrupted. In 1772, the ''alcabala'' (sales tax) was increased from 2 percent to 4 percent. Then in 1774, ''aduanas'' (customhouses) were established and the ''acabala'' was applied to grain. The ''acabala'' was again increased in 1776 to 6 percent, the same year Upper Peru became part of the new Viceroyalty of the Rio de la Plata. Provincial officials began appointing outsider wealthy and/or mestizo caciques to indigenous townships, violating traditional practices of hereditary local cacique governance beneath Spanish rule. Aymara Language
Aymara (; also ) is an Aymaran language spoken by the Aymara people of the Bolivian Andes. It is one of only a handful of Native American languages with over one million speakers.The other native American languages with more than one million speakers are Nahuatl, Quechua languages, and Guaraní. Aymara, along with Spanish and Quechua, is an official language in Bolivia and Peru. It is also spoken, to a much lesser extent, by some communities in northern Chile, where it is a recognized minority language. Some linguists have claimed that Aymara is related to its more widely spoken neighbor, Quechua. That claim, however, is disputed.
