Chatterton (album)
''Chatterton'' is the ninth studio album by French rocker Alain Bashung, issued in 1994 on Barclay Records. Production The music melt the use of pedal steel guitar with synths, for instance on "J'passe pour une caravane" ("They mistake me for a caravan"), and the style was dubbed "country new age" by Bashung himself. The most well-known track on the album in France is "Ma petite entreprise" ("My little business") which was popularized when it was used as the theme song to the movie '' My Little Business'' by Pierre Jolivet in 1999. Alain Bashung
Alain Bashung (, born Alain Claude Baschung; 1 December 1947 – 14 March 2009) was a French singer, songwriter and actor. Credited with reviving the French chanson in "a time of French musical turmoil", he is often regarded in his home country as the most important French rock musician after Serge Gainsbourg. He rose to prominence in the early 1980s with hit songs such as " Gaby oh Gaby" and "Vertige de l'amour", and later had a string of hit records from the 1990s onward, such as "Osez Joséphine", "Ma petite entreprise" and "La nuit je mens". He has had an influence on many later French artists, and is the most awarded artist in the Victoires de la Musique history with 12 victories obtained throughout his career. Jean-Marc Lederman is a Belgian keyboard player and producer. He has worked with bands such as Fad Gadget, The The, Gene Loves Jezebel, The Weathermen, Belgian rock band Streets, and Front 242, and with other artists including Julianne Regan, Jacques Duvall and Alain Bashung. The trumpet is a brass instrument commonly used in classical and jazz ensembles. The trumpet group ranges from the piccolo trumpet—with the highest register in the brass family—to the bass trumpet, pitched one octave below the standard B or C trumpet. An acoustic guitar is a musical instrument in the string family. When a string is plucked its vibration is transmitted from the bridge, resonating throughout the top of the guitar. Pierre Van Dormael
Pierre Van Dormael (24 May 1952 – 3 September 2008) was a Belgian jazz guitarist and composer. In 1988, he played in the James Baldwin Project with David Linx and Deborah Brown (vocalists), Slide Hampton (trombone), Diederik Wissels (piano), Bob Stewart (tuba), and Michel Hatzigeorgiou (bass guitar). Van Dormael was also a member of Nasa Na Band, a jazz band known as the precursor of Aka Moon. Eddie Martinez is an American guitarist, born and raised in New York City and of Puerto Rican ancestry, who mainly performs as a session musician. Career Martinez's professional music career began in the 1960s and continues today.
