Chattergala Pass
Chattergala Pass, is a mountain pass (elevation ) in the Middle Himalayas of the Jammu region of Jammu and Kashmir, India, connecting the town of Bhaderwah in the Neeru river valley with Basohli in the Shiwalik hills. Chattergala Tunnel is planned under the pass. Tunnel Chattergala Tunnel: 6.8 km long road tunnel under the Chattergala pass is planned to connect Kathua and Doda via Bani. It will provide all-weather road connectivity and reduce the travel time from Lakhanpur to Doda to four hours. Once the construction begins, the Rs. 4,000 crore tunnel is expected to be completed in about 4 years. Bhaderwah or Bhadarwah (also ''Bhaderwah Valley'') is a town, tehsil, and sub-district in the Doda district of Jammu Division of Jammu and Kashmir (union territory), Jammu and Kashmir, India. Jawahar Tunnel
Jawahar Tunnel, also called Banihal Tunnel is a road tunnel at elevation of in union territory of Jammu and Kashmir in India below the Banihal Pass in the Pir Panjal mountain range in lower Himalayas. It was named after Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India. It was constructed between 1954 and 1956. It has been operational since 22 December 1956. The length of tunnel is 2.85 km. Atal Tunnel () is a road tunnel connecting Manali and Keylong. It helps in bypassing the Rohtang Pass, Himachal Pradesh in the eastern Pir Panjal range of the Himalayas. It carries two lanes of National Highway 3. It is the longest highway single-tube tunnel above in the world. It is named after the former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Z-Morh Tunnel
The Sonamarg Tunnel () is a road tunnel connecting Gagangir and Sonamarg, in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It carries two lanes of National Highway 1. It bypasses a Z-shaped stretch of road, which used to be avalanche-prone and get blocked during the winter months due to heavy snowfall.
