Chathuranga Vallabhanathar Temple
Chathuranga Vallabhanathar Temple (சதுரங்க வல்லபநாதர் கோயில்) is a Hindu temple located between Needamangalam and Mannargudi in the Tiruvarur district of Tamil Nadu, India. The presiding deity is Shiva. Legend According to Hindu legend, a childless king named Vasudevan worshipped Shiva and as a result Parvathi was born to him as Rajarajeswari. It is also believed that Shiva appeared to the king in the guise of ''siddha'' at this place and worsted him in a game of chess. As a consequence, he married Rajarajeswari. Chaturanga Lakmal Jayasooriya Arachchilage also known as Chathuranga Lakmal (born 7 October 1988) is a Sri Lankan male weightlifter. Career He competed for Sri Lanka in the 2016 South Asian Games and claimed a silver medal in the men's 56 kg event. He was named as one of the members of the Sri Lankan contingent at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Pinnaduwage Chaturanga de Silva (born 17 January 1990), or Chaturanga de Silva, is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who plays limited over cricket.
