Chasing Yesterday Tour
The Chasing Yesterday Tour is a concert tour by Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds to support Gallagher's 2015 album Chasing Yesterday. Background On 13 October 2014 Noel Gallagher took to Facebook to announce details of his second album with the High Flying Birds, dates and venues and of a supporting tour and to take part in a Question and Answer session. Originally only European concert dates were announced. Several concerts in the UK sold out very quickly, leaving many fans frustrated. On 27 October 2014 five concerts were announced for Japan in April 2015. There were also concerts to be announced in North America to also take place in 2015. For the 2016 North America and Europe dates, the band was joined by former Oasis tour drummer Chris Sharrock, replacing Jeremy Stacey who had left after the previous tour legs to join King Crimson. Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds are an English rock band formed in 2010 as the solo moniker of former Oasis songwriter, lead guitarist, and backing vocalist Noel Gallagher. The touring band consists of former Oasis members Gem Archer (guitar), Mike Rowe (piano), and Chris Sharrock (drums), as well as former Zutons member Russell Pritchard (bass). The band has also had a variety of guests contribute to albums such as the Crouch End Festival Chorus, Amorphous Androgynous, Johnny Marr, and Paul Weller. Since his departure from Oasis in August 2009, many speculated that Gallagher might record a solo album. In July 2011, he held a press conference to confirm this, after denying rumours from his brother Liam had already heard the tracks featured on it. The Odyssey Complex, formerly Odyssey Centre, is a sports and entertainment complex located within the Titanic Quarter in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The complex originated in 1992 and came into fruition in June 1998. It opened in December 2000, with expansions opening in March and May 2001.
