''Charm Offensive'' is the debut full-length album by American gothic rock/post-punk band Damien Done. Originally scheduled for release on February 16, 2018, by American record label Mind Over Matter Records, the digital version was pushed back to March 2, 2018, while the 12-inch vinyl version was delayed until April 26, 2018. Belgian record label Hypertension Records licensed the rights to issue the album on 12-inch vinyl for the European market, releasing its edition on August 10, 2018, to coincide with the band's European and British tour. The band released three singles from ''Charm Offensive'': "Curious Thing" on September 8, 2017 (though its music video premiered beforehand on August 25, 2017), "The Lord Fox" on January 13, 2018, and "Roof Access" on February 16, 2018. A fourth music video was also produced for the non-album Killing Joke cover "Primitive", which appeared on the b-side of "Curious Thing" and with the European edition of the album. Damien Done
Damien Done is an American post-punk/ gothic rock band from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Formed in Gainesville, Florida in 2002 as a semi-eponymously-named solo project by frontman Damien Moyal, the group has since been expanded to include other band members and co-songwriters. The current lineup features Moyal (vocals, guitar, synthesizer, drum programming), Laura Jane Leonard (bass guitar) and Tyler Kane (guitar, bass guitar). Damien Done originally formed under the name Rubbers and recorded its debut EP, '' Love Thongs'', in 2003. Scheduled for release through Belgian record label Good Life Recordings, the EP was ultimately shelved for thirteen years until it was picked up by German record label Demons Run Amok Entertainment, and released under the title '' Stay Black'' in 2016. Shai Hulud
Shai Hulud is an American metalcore band formed in Pompano Beach, Florida, in 1995, and later based in Poughkeepsie, New York. The band is named after the giant sandworms in Frank Herbert's novel ''Dune''. The two mainstay members of Shai Hulud are considered to be Matt Fox (guitar), who writes most of the band's musical and lyrical output, and Matt Fletcher (originally guitar, now bass), who assists in writing. Glenn Allen Anzalone (born June 23, 1955), better known by his stage name Glenn Danzig, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, film director, and record producer. Film noir (; ) is a cinematic term used primarily to describe stylish Hollywood crime dramas, particularly those that emphasize cynical attitudes and motivations. On Bodies was an American hardcore band active from 2009 to 2017. Principally based in Cincinnati, Ohio, where the majority of its members resided, it also included members from Michigan, Florida, New Jersey, and Kentucky. Good Life Recordings is a Belgian independent record label which was founded in 1996 by Edward Verhaeghe, who had been the lead vocalist of Nations on Fire. ''Stay Black'' is the debut extended play by American gothic rock and roll / post-punk band Damien Done. Originally titled ''Love Thongs'', it was recorded in September 2003 and scheduled for release in April 2004, through Belgian record label Good Life Recordings. The record company refused to release the extended play and kept it stuck in limbo for thirteen years, until German record label Demons Run Amok Entertainment licensed its rights in late 2015. While awaiting its official release, the band offered the music for free download and streaming across a variety of websites, with an often-changing track listing and several different cover artworks. Demons Run Amok Entertainment's official vinyl and digital release was finally issued on July 8, 2016. ''Ox-Fanzine'' is a monthly punk zine from Solingen, Germany, founded in 1988. It is edited by Joachim Hiller and has had many contributors. Besides its focus on punk subculture, it also covers similar genres, reviews of comics, books and films, and has included serial novels by authors such as Klaus N. Frick. By 2019, ''Ox'' had a circulation of 10,000 copies. History ''Ox-Fanzine'' was founded in 1988 by Joachim Hiller and Biggi Häußler in Heidenheim an der Brenz (Southern Germany). Its first issue was published in January 1989. The zine was named after the cat of Häußler, which appeared on the first cover.
