''Charm'' is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Clairo, released on July 12, 2024. Miss Charm is an international beauty pageant based in Vietnam with the mission of promoting culture, tourism and educational activities. The current Miss Charm is Rashmita Rasindran from Malaysia, who was crowned on 21 December 2024 at Nguyen Du Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. History The pageant was founded on 8 October 2019 as Miss Charm International,. The contest is owned by Elite Vietnam, an entertainment company based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The first competition was postponed several times in two years by the outbreak of COVID-19. Charm++ is a parallel object-oriented programming paradigm based on C++ and developed in the Parallel Programming Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. Charm is a computer programming language devised in the early 1990s with similarities to the RTL/2, Pascal and C languages in addition to containing some unique features of its own. Charm Tong (born in 1981, Shan State, Burma) is a Shan teacher and human rights activist. She is head of the School for Shan State Nationalities Youth in Northern Thailand. Charm Tong is also one of the founders of Shan Women's Action Network, which published the 2002 report ''License to Rape''. For many years Charm helped refugees find school in Thailand. The Charms
The Charms are an American garage rock band from Somerville, Massachusetts, United States, who were formed in 2002. Following 8 straight years of releasing records and touring the band went on a hiatus and returned for a few one off shows before releasing the "Deep End Of The Dial" EP in 2015.They have performed on and off the last several years. The first single called "Gimme Your Love" recorded by Scott Riebling ( Letters To Cleo) was well received. The most recent lineup consisted of Ellie Vee, Joe Wizda, Kat Kina, Mark Nigro, and Jason Sloan. The band teamed with local Boston based management company Twisted Rico Management (Steev Riccardo) and formed Red Car Records in 2003. In September 2015, the band released the single "B.O.S.T.O.N", also recorded and mixed by Scott Riebling. Otis Williams And The Charms
Otis Williams and the Charms were an American doo-wop vocal group in the 1950s, who were originally billed as The Charms. Williams is not related to Otis Williams of The Temptations. Career Otis Williams (born June 2, 1936, in Cincinnati, Ohio, United States) attended Withrow High School in Cincinnati, and in 1952 joined an existing singing group in the school when one of its members was sick. The other original members were Bob Smith (tenor) (later replaced by Donald Peak), Rolland Bradley (tenor), Joe Penn (baritone/tenor), and Richard Parker (bass; December 31, 1936 – September 24, 2018). The group, which Williams named The Charms, performed "Rags to Riches" in the '' Withrow Minstrels'' in May 1954, where they were seen in the opening show by Syd Nathan of King Records.
