Charlie Jackson (defensive Back)
Charles Robert Jackson (March 3, 1936 – May 15, 2021) was an American professional football defensive back who played one season with the Chicago Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Cardinals in the 13th round of the 1958 NFL draft. He played college football at Southern Methodist University. Jackson was also a member of the Dallas Texans of the American Football League (AFL). Early life Charles Robert Jackson was born on March 3, 1936, in Paris, Texas. He attended Paris High School in Paris. College career Jackson was a member of the SMU Mustangs from 1954 to 1957 and a two-year letterman from 1956 to 1957. He rushed 97 times for 571 yards and four touchdowns in 1956 while also catching seven passes for 124 yards and one touchdown. In gridiron football, defensive backs (DBs), also called the secondary, are the players on the defensive side of the ball who play farthest back from the line of scrimmage. They are distinguished from the other two sets of defensive players, the defensive linemen who play directly on the line of scrimmage, and the linebackers, who play in the middle of the defense, and between the defensive line and the defensive backs. The Kansas City Chiefs are a professional American football team based in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member of the American Football Conference (AFC) West division. COVID-19
Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. In January 2020, the disease spread worldwide, resulting in the COVID-19 pandemic. The symptoms of COVID‑19 can vary but often include fever, fatigue, cough, breathing difficulties, anosmia, loss of smell, and ageusia, loss of taste.
