Charlie Green (singer)
Charlie Green is an English–Filipino singer from Droitwich, Worcestershire, England. Green is best known for appearing on the second series of ''Britain's Got Talent'' in 2008. After the show, Green signed a record deal with Star Records and released his debut album, '' Charlie Green''. He has since toured the U.S. and embarked on promotional tours in Asia. In February 2010, Green signed a two-year recording contract and agency with Viva Records. Green will be touring various countries to promote the album. Droitwich Spa
Droitwich Spa (often abbreviated to Droitwich ) is an historic spa town in the Wychavon district in northern Worcestershire, England, on the River Salwarpe. It is located approximately south-west of Birmingham and north-east of Worcester. The town was called Salinae in Roman times, then later called Wyche, derived from the Anglo-Saxon Hwicce kingdom, referred to as "Saltwich" according to Anglo-Saxon charters, with the Droit (meaning "right" in French) added when the town was given its charter on 1 August 1215 by King John. The second series of British talent competition programme ''Britain's Got Talent'' was broadcast on ITV, from 12 April to 31 May 2008. Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress and singer. "Summer Wind" is a 1965 song, originally released in Germany as "Der Sommerwind" and written by Heinz Meier and German language lyrics by Hans Bradtke. Johnny Mercer re-wrote the song into English along the same themes as the original, which talked of the changing of the seasons using the Southern European sirocco wind as a metaphor.
