Charlie Curtis-Beard (born May 29, 1997) is an American rapper, singer, and social media personality. He joined TikTok in March 2020 and became popular on the platform, reaching 1.7 million followers as of April 2023. As a rapper, he has released three EPs and four studio albums, receiving praise from the ''Chicago Reader'' and ''Ones to Watch'', and has opened for Ella Mai, Abhi the Nomad, and Stacey Ryan. Vine was an American short-form video hosting service where users could share six-second-long looping video clips. It was originally launched on January 24, 2013 by Vine Labs, Inc., bought by Twitter the year before; the service was shut down in October 2016 and the app was discontinued a few months later. Videos published on Vine's social network could also be shared on different social networking platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. Manifest (urban Arts Festival)
Manifest is an "urban arts festival" put on by Columbia College Chicago to showcase the works of graduate students and seniors from the many departments of the college. Started in 2002, activities at Manifest include gallery shows, musical performances, screenings, readings, and various other activities and the whole event is open to the public. It is also a time when many of the clubs at Columbia promote themselves to returning students. In 2007, Manifest coincided, perhaps just by chance, with the premier of Looptopia in the downtown central business district known as the Loop.
