Charles Ward (born 2 July 1977) is an Irish politician from the 100% Redress party who has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Donegal constituency since the 2024 general election. Ward has a career in healthcare. He was an unsuccessful candidate at the 2024 Donegal County Council election. Personal life Ward was born in Aranmore Island, County Donegal. It was there that he met his wife Angela. They have been living in Drumkeen, County Donegal, for the past twenty years, and have four children. A Teachta Dála ( ; ; plural ), abbreviated as TD (plural ''TDanna'' in Irish language, Irish, TDs in English), is a member of Dáil Éireann, the lower house of the Oireachtas, the parliament of Republic of Ireland, Ireland. The official English translation of the term is "Dáil Deputy". An equivalent position would be a Member of parliament, Member of Parliament (MP) in the UK or Member of Congress in the USA.
