Charles Hodgson ( – 1856) was an amateur English Landscape painting, landscape painter who was one of the founding members member of the Norwich School of painters. His son was David Hodgson (artist), David Hodgson, a notable artist in his own right. Life Charles Hodgson was born in around 1770 in Norwich. His father died when he was fourteen and the orphaned boy was adopted by a Mr Browne of North Walsham, who gave his foster son a good education and nurtured his interest in drawing and painting. Hodgson became a schoolmaster and English studies, taught English at the Paston College, grammar school in North Walsham for a few years.Walpole, Josephine, ''Art and Artists of the Norwich School'', p.136. Roger Hodgson
Charles Roger Pomfret Hodgson (born 21 March 1950) is an English singer, musician and songwriter, best known as the former co-frontman and founding member of the progressive rock band Supertramp. Hodgson composed and sang the majority of the band’s hits, including "Dreamer", "Give a Little Bit", " Take the Long Way Home", "The Logical Song", " It's Raining Again", and "Breakfast in America". In 1983, Hodgson left Supertramp and moved his family away from Los Angeles to live a simpler lifestyle close to nature. After releasing two solo albums in 1984 and 1987, he took a break from his music career to spend time with his children as they were growing up. Charlie Hodgson
Charles Christopher Hodgson (born 12 November 1980) is a retired English rugby union player, having previously been a player for Sale Sharks and Saracens. His position was fly-half and he is the leading Premiership points scorer of all time. Hodgson also played for England, until announcing his international retirement in 2012. Hodgson made 18 consecutive starts at fly half for England between 2004 and 2006. Early life Born on 12 November 1980 in Halifax, West Yorkshire, Hodgson was educated at Bradford Grammar School; the school hosts a rugby tournament for under-12s called the Charlie Hodgson Cup.
