Charles Herbert Percy Tupper (October 11, 1887 – May 18, 1950) was a Canadian politician. William Alexander McKenzie
William Alexander McKenzie (January 29, 1874 – July 8, 1966 ) was a builder and political figure in British Columbia. He represented Similkameen (electoral district), Similkameen in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia from 1918 to 1933 as a British Columbia Conservative Party, Conservative. He was born in Puslinch, Ontario, the son of William McKenzie and the former Miss Mary Brown, and was educated there. In 1910, McKenzie married Florence Mary Thompson (28 Feb 1886 - 10 Feb 1959)the daughter of James Walden Thompson (1856 Biddulph, Ontario - 1923 Penticton, B.C.) and Isabella Murray McMillan (1859 Nissouria, Ontario - 1950 Esquimalt, B.C.). . Bernard George Webber
Bernard George Webber (August 6, 1914 – December 5, 2000) was an educator and political figure in British Columbia. He represented Similkameen from 1941 to 1945 as a Co-operative Commonwealth Federation member. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was employed as a school principal, as a District Superintendent of Schools, as an assistant Superintendent of Public Instruction for the Ministry of Education and as Superintendent of Special Education for the ministry. Webber was president of the Okanagan Historical Society from 1989 to 1991. He was defeated by Reginald Robert Laird when he ran for reelection in 1945. He was also defeated in a 1945 provincial byelection and in the 1949 provincial election. Similkameen (electoral District)
Similkameen was the name of a provincial electoral district in the Canadian province of British Columbia formed around the historic mining district of the same name. It made its first appearance on the hustings in the election of 1903. After the 1963 election, which was the occasion of this riding's last appearance, this electoral district was combined with Grand Forks-Greenwood to form Boundary-Similkameen for the 1966 election.
