Charles Bowser
Charles Bowser (born October 2, 1959) is a former American football linebacker who played four seasons in the National Football League (NFL) for the Miami Dolphins. Early life and career Bowser played his college career at Duke University, setting the school's single season and career sacks record at 17.5 and 22, respectively. Bowser graduated from Plymouth High School, located in Plymouth, North Carolina in 1978. Charles Bowser also played a role as part of the Miami Dolphins Killer Bees Defense of the 1980s. Linebacker
Linebacker (LB) is a playing position in gridiron football. Linebackers are members of the defensive team, and typically line up three to five yards behind the line of scrimmage and so back up the defensive linemen. They play closer to the line of scrimmage than the defensive backs (secondary). As such, linebackers play a hybrid role and are often the most versatile players on the defensive side of the ball; they can be asked to play roles similar to either a defensive lineman (such as stopping the runner on a running play) or a defensive back (such as dropping back into pass coverage). Bob Brudzinski
Robert Louis Brudzinski (born January 1, 1955) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for 13 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily with the Miami Dolphins. He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes, earning consensus All-American honors in 1976. Ohio State Brudzinski was a four-time letter winner and a three-year starter at defensive end for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a two-time All-Big Ten Conference selection and as a senior in 1976, he was a consensus All-America choice. In his 43 games for Ohio State he totaled 214 tackles and in 1976 he intercepted four passes, a high number for a defensive end. Doug Betters
Douglas Lloyd Betters (born June 11, 1956) is an American former professional football player who was a defensive end for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League (NFL) from 1978 to 1987. After graduating from Arlington High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Betters played college Division I football for the Montana Grizzlies from 1974 to 1976, then transferred to play for the Nevada Wolf Pack in 1977. The next year, he was a sixth round draft pick for the Dolphins. Betters was a part of Miami's "Killer B's" defense, and went to Super Bowl XVII and XIX. In 1983, Betters recorded 16 sacks in 16 games and won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award, and was named to the AFC Pro Bowl team.
