Chantelle Reid
Chantelle Reid (born 31 May 1998) is an English amateur boxer. She represented Great Britain at the 2024 Summer Olympics. Career Reid won a gold medal at the 2014 European Junior Boxing Championship and bronze a year later at the World Youth Championship before a back injury forced her to quit the sport for six years. Upon returning to the ring she claimed an England Boxing National Amateur Championships title in 2023 and was subsequently awarded a place on the GB Boxing podium squad. Allenton, Derbyshire
Allenton is a small suburb of the city of Derby, England, situated about three miles south of the city centre. It is located between the suburbs of Osmaston, Boulton, Alvaston and Shelton Lock. Allenton is a busy part of the city of Derby, with a variety of modern shops, stores and other facilities, including free parking. IBA World Boxing Championships
The IBA World Boxing Championships, and the IBA Women's World Boxing Championships (previously known as AIBA), are biennial amateur boxing competitions organised by the International Boxing Association (IBA), which is the sport governing body. Alongside the Olympic boxing programme, they are the highest level of competition for the sport. The championships were first held for men in 1974 and the first women's championships were held over 25 years later in 2001. Both championships are held separately on biennial schedules. Khadija Mardi (born 1 February 1991), also known as Khadija El Mardi, is a Moroccan boxer. She is the current Heavyweight women's IBA World Boxing Champion. Career Mardi competed in the women's middleweight event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She lost to Dariga Shakimova in the quarter-finals. She qualified to represent Morocco at the 2020 Summer Olympics, however, she withdrew from the competition due to medical reasons. In 2022, Mardi won the gold medal at the 2022 African Amateur Boxing Championships. The England Boxing National Amateur Championships previously known as the ABA Championships is the premier boxing tournament hosted annually by England Boxing. The Championships are 'open' class: any boxer who is registered with a club registered with England Boxing (aged over 17 years by the 1 October) can enter.
