Channel Islands Beach is an unincorporated community in Ventura County, California, United States consisting of three historic neighborhoods: Hollywood Beach, Hollywood by the Sea, and Silver Strand Beach. olol'koy Beach Park (or 'olołkoy Beach Park) is a recreational area operated by the city of Oxnard, California at the edge of the Oxnard Plain. Formerly called Oxnard Beach Park, the park was renamed after the Chumashan word for dolphin in 2023. Description The park is located along the California Coastal Trail and the Pacific Coast Bicycle Route. Santa Barbara Channel
The Santa Barbara Channel is a portion of the Southern California Bight and separates the mainland of California from the northern Channel Islands. It is generally south of the city of Santa Barbara, and west of the Oxnard Plain in Ventura County. It trends east–west, is approximately long and averages about across, becoming narrowest at its easternmost extremity where Anacapa Island is about from the mainland.
