''Change Colours'' is the third studio album by British-Australian recording artist Reece Mastin, released on 9 October 2015 by Social Family Records. It is the first studio album released by Mastin since leaving Sony Music Australia, and the follow-up to his 2015 extended play '' Rebel and the Reason''. The album is described as a rock album "high on raw feelings, with songs ripped straight out of real-life experiences that cut to the heart of the matter". It was announced and became available for pre-order on 11 September 2015. Content and themes Several songs on the album are about Mastin's split with ''Home and Away'' actress Rhiannon Fish, which, according to Mastin, was less than amicable. Reece Mastin (born 24 November 1994) is an English-born Australian singer and songwriter who won the third season of '' The X Factor Australia'' in 2011. Mastin subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia. His debut single " Good Night" reached number one in Australia and New Zealand, and became Sony Music Australia's fastest-selling digital single. Mastin's self-titled debut album debuted at number two on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified double platinum. Jean-Paul Fung
Jean-Paul Fung (born 6 November 1988) is an Australian producer, mixer, musician and songwriter who has worked on multiple award-winning records. Fung learned how to play the piano, guitar, bass guitar and drums at a young age. Throughout his teenage years he played in punk rock, hardcore and folk music bands. In November 2009, at the now-defunct BJB Studios, Fung was hired as in-house assistant by Australian producer Scott Horscroft. He was later promoted to in-house audio engineer, shortly followed by in-house producer. Following the closure of BJB Studios in September 2011, Fung moved to freelance work. "Rebel and the Reason" is a song by British-Australian recording artist Reece Mastin. "Rebel and the Reason" was released on 27 March 2015 as the lead single from Mastin's first extended play of the same name and peaked at number fifty-one on the ARIA Singles Chart, becoming Mastin’s eighth Top 100 chart entry. Michael Paynter (born 29 January 1986), is an Australian singer-songwriter. Paynter has released five singles, " Closer", "A Victim Song", "Love the Fall", "How Sweet It Is" and "Weary Stars". Audra Mae (born February 20, 1984) is an American singer and songwriter from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
