Changaiz Ahmed Khan Kakar () is a Pakistani politician and lawyer who serving as member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from Faisalabad, in office 29 February 2024. He served as Member Punjab Bar Council from 2010 to 2015 and again from 2015 to 2020. He was again elected for the 3rd time in 2020 for a 5 years term until 2025. He belgons to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf since 2002 elections, but he didn't contest any national level election before the 2024 election. He also was lawyer of former Minister of State for Water and Power, and Member National Assembly Abid Sher Ali. On 18 August 2024, he was booked with his six lawyer companions on Sunday by the Women Police Station Faisalabad on charge of an attack on a Woman Assistant District Public Prosecutor (ADPP) and her father at the District Courts Complex Faisalabad. Kakar People
The Kakar (Pashto: کاکړ) is a Gharghashti Pashtun tribe, based in Afghanistan, parts of Iran, and northern Balochistan in Pakistan. Origins of the tribe Kakars are descendants of Dani (or Daani) who was the son of Gharghasht. Gharghasht was the son of Qais Abdul Rashid, the founder of the Pashtuns who himself was the descendant of Afghana (or Avagana) the progenitor of modern-day Pashtuns.
