Chandrakant Lahariya
Chandrakant Lahariya is an Indian medical doctor, public health & policy expert and writer. Lahariya is the author of the book '' Till We Win: India's Fight Against The COVID-19 Pandemic''. In early 2008, Lahariya joined the World Health Organization in India, where - in the years which followed - he coordinated the organization's work on the new vaccines introduced in the country. Awards and recognitions In the year 2012, he received Indian Council of Medical Research’s Dr B.C. Srivastava Foundation Award for his work on translating community-based health research into public policy interventions. In October 2020, in a study conducted by Stanford University and published in the reputed PLoS Biology, Lahariya was listed amongst the top 2% of researchers globally, in the fields of pediatrics and public health. AIIMS
The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is a group of autonomous government public medical universities of higher education under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , Government of India. These institutes have been declared by an Act of Parliament as Institutes of National Importance. AIIMS New Delhi, the forerunner institute, was established in 1956. Vinod Kumar Paul is an Indian pediatrician and physician scientist currently serving as Member, NITI Aayog. He earlier served as Professor of Neonatology at the Department of Pediatrics, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi from 1985 to 2020.
