Chandrakant Devtale
Chandrakant Devtale (1936—2017; ) was an Indian poet, and a recipient of the List of Sahitya Akademi Award winners for Hindi, Sahitya Akademi Award. Biography Chandrakant Devtale was born on November 6, 1936, in the Gondwana (India), Gondwana region of India. During his childhood, his family migrated to the Indore State. He completed his higher education in Indore, and received his doctorate from the Sagar University. Devtale mostly wrote poems in both Hindi and Marathi language, Marathi. He has been referred to as one of the most political Hindi poets. In his review of the poem, "दीवारों पर खून से" ('On walls with blood'), Kuldeep Kumar referred Devtale as a "genuine writer, under the enormous, multi-faceted pressures of new society." In a 2016 event, speaking about poetry, Devtale said: "My roots are in villages and the anxiety in me belongs to the tribals." Gondwana (India)
Gondwana is a region of India, named after the Gondi people who live there (though they can also be found in other parts of India). The name of the ancient continent of Gondwanaland was derived from Gondwana, because some of the earliest rock formations of this continent were first investigated in part of the region, in modern Odisha. As Gondi people are spread widely across central India, and are a minority almost everywhere, there is no unambiguous boundary to the region. However, the core region can be considered to be the eastern part of the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra, Garha Kingdom the parts of Madhya Pradesh immediately to the north of it, and parts of the west of Chhattisgarh. The wider region extends into parts of northern Telangana, western Odisha and southern Uttar Pradesh. The Pioneer (India)
''The Pioneer'' is an English-language daily newspaper in India. It is published from multiple locations in India, including Delhi. It is the second oldest English-language newspaper in India still in circulation after ''The Times of India''. In 2010, The Pioneer launched its Hindi version in Lucknow. Author Rudyard Kipling (1865-1936), in his early 20s, worked at the newspaper office in Allahabad as an assistant editor from November 1887 to March 1889.
