''Chandrahas'' is a 2007 Indian Telugu-language social drama film directed by Siva Shakthi Datta and starring Haranath Policherla with Abbas and Ravi Prakash in supporting roles. Krishna makes a special appearance as Chatrapati Sivaji. Plot Five-hundred years ago, a Mysore queen gifted Chatrapati Sivaji (Krishna) a sword called Chandrahas. At present day, Sivaji (Harinath Policherla), a fifteen generation descendant of Sivaji and an archeologist, finds the sword but gets himself in trouble with his Muslim family friends and terrorists. Cast Production Siva Shakthi Datta, M. M. Keeravani's father, made his debut into direction with this film. Siva Shakthi Datta
Koduri Siva Shakthi Datta (born Koduri Subba Rao; 8 October 1932) is an Indian lyricist, screenwriter, and painter who works in Telugu cinema. He is known for writing Sanskrit-based song lyrics in Telugu films. He is the elder brother of screenwriter V. Vijayendra Prasad, father of music director M. M. Keeravani and the uncle of director S. S. Rajamouli. Early life Siva Shakthi Datta was born as Koduri Subbarao on 8 October 1932. His family hails from Kovvur near Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. His father was Koduri Vijaya Apparao. Apparao was a landlord, a contractor and also ran a transport company in Kovvur with 12 buses. Apparao was fond of arts. His second son was Subbarao, who later changed his name to Baburao. Sujatha (actress)
Sujatha (10 December 1952 – 6 April 2011) was an Indian actress who performed and starred in a variety of unique characters in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films- in addition to few in Kannada and Hindi languages as well. The actress was best known for restraint and subtlety in portrayal of varied emotions. After starring in numerous Malayalam films in her mother-tongue, Sujatha later got introduced to the Tamil film industry by veteran director K. Balachander and producer P.R. Govindarajan as a protagonist in her first Tamil film, '' Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' (1974). It was a critically acclaimed film and launched the actress's first commecrical breakthrough in her acting career. She died of a cardiac arrest on 6 April 2011 in Chennai (aged 58). Vijay Yesudas (born 23 March 1979) is an Indian playback singer and actor. He has sung over 1000 film songs.
