Chandni Raatey
''Chandni Raatey'' () is a 1993 Dhallywood romantic drama film. The story and screenplay were written and directed by Ehtesham. The film stars debutants Shabnoor and Sabbir in the lead roles. History Ehtesham was looking for new actors to act in the movie ''Chandni Raatey''. Shabnoor debuted as a rookie at the age of 13 and Sabbir as a hero for the film. Most of the film was shot in Susong Durgapur in Netrakona. The film was shot for over a month. Ehtesham
Ehtesham ur Rahman (1927 – 17 February 2002), known as Captain Ehtesham, was a Bangladeshi and Pakistani film director. On his death in 2002 he was described as a pioneer of the film industry in Dhaka, and one of Bangladesh's leading directors. Birth and early life Ehtesham was born in Dhaka on 12 October 1927. His father, Mohammad Yusuf, was a professor at Islamia College and his mother, Mosammat Kaniz Fatema, was a house wife. Career Ehtesham first became a film cinema distributor in 1950. He was credited with the discovery of many noted actors. In 1956 he began his first film, '' Ei Desh Tomar Amar'' ("This country is yours and mine"), which marked the first film acting appearance for both Subhash Dutta and Shabnam. Kazi Sharmin Nahid Nupur (born 17 December), known by her stage name Shabnur, is a Bangladeshi film actress. She won Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress for her role in the film '' Dui Noyoner Alo'' (2005). Background Kazi Sharmin Nahid Nupur was born on 17 December at Navaron, Jashore, Bangladesh. Her father is Shahjahan Chowdhury. She has a sister and a brother–Jhumur and Tamal.
