Anantnag Railway Station
Anantnag railway station is a railway station on the Northern railway network. It is the headquarters of Anantnag division of Northern Railway zone. It lies in Firozpur division. History The station has been built as part of the Jammu–Baramulla line megaproject, intending to link the Kashmir Valley with Jammu Tawi and the rest of the Indian rail network. The station is basically located in rice fields which are between wanpoh and harnag. It is approximately 4.5 km far from Anantnag town. Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport also known as Srinagar Airport and Budgam Airbase, is an international airport serving Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is owned by the Indian Air Force, and the Airports Authority of India operates a civil enclave at the airport. It was designated as an international airport in 2005. 2011 Census Of India
The 2011 Census of India or the 15th Census of India, Indian Census was conducted in two phases, house listing and population enumeration. The House listing phase began on 1 April 2010 and involved the collection of information about all buildings. Thanamandi
Thanamandi is a town and a municipal committee in the Rajouri district in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. Thanamandi lies on the Mughal Road between Rajouri and Bufliaz. The municipal area limits are mostly inhabitated by kashmiris. Significance Thanamandi lies from Rajouri, the district headquarters, on the Mughal Road, the route across the Pir Panjal mountain pass toward Srinagar. Historically, this route was an important footpath to obtain feed for cattle. The building of the Mughal Road added vehicle traffic bound for Srinagar. Thanamandi has religious significance as the home of the most important Sufi saint, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah, whose mausoleum is at Shahdara Sharief in the town. Poonch (or Punch), (called ''Prunts'' in the Kashmiri, Gojri & Pahari languages) is a town and the administrative headquarters of the Poonch district, in the Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir, India. Noori Chamb
Noori Chamb is a waterfall in the headwaters of the Poonch River in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir in India. It is named after the Mughal queen Nur Jahan. Noori Chamb is located near the hill village of Bahramgala below Pir Panjal Pass (Peer Ki Gali) in the Poonch district. It is at a distance of 10 km from Bufliaz. The Mughal Road passes next to it. This place is linked with the Mughal history. According to local legends, it is named after Nur Jahan, the wife of emperor Jehangir. "Chamb" in local terminology is water fall.
