Champlain (provincial Electoral District)
Champlain () is a provincial electoral riding in the Mauricie region of Quebec, Canada, which elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It notably includes the eastern portions of the city of Trois-Rivières as well as Saint-Tite, Saint-Maurice, Quebec, Saint-Maurice and Sainte-Thècle. Its boundaries have remained the same since the 1973 Quebec general election, 1973 election. However, the boundaries changed for the 2018 Quebec general election, 2018 election as it gained Hérouxville, Lac-aux-Sables, Notre-Dame-de-Montauban, Saint-Adelphe, Sainte-Thècle, Quebec, Sainte-Thècle, Saint-Séverin, Mauricie, Quebec, Saint-Séverin and Saint-Tite from Laviolette (provincial electoral district), Laviolette. Sonia LeBel is a Canadians, Canadian politician who was elected for the Coalition Avenir Québec to the National Assembly of Quebec in the 2018 Quebec general election, 2018 provincial election. She represents the electoral district of Champlain (provincial electoral district), Champlain as a member of the Coalition Avenir Québec. As a lawyer, LeBel was chief prosecutor of the Charbonneau Commission into collusion within Quebec's construction industry. She was also the province's Director of Criminal and Penal Prosecutions, focusing on drugs and organized crime. Saint-Tite
Saint-Tite () is a Canadian city located at the foothills of the Laurentians, between Grandes-Piles and Saint-Adelphe, in the Mauricie RCM of Mékinac. A large body of water, Lake Pierre-Paul, bathes the northeastern part of the territory.' Laviolette (provincial Electoral District)
Laviolette () was a provincial electoral district in the Mauricie region of Quebec, Canada that elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It includes the city of La Tuque and its urban agglomeration, some parts of the city of Shawinigan, and various other municipalities. It was created for the 1931 election from part of Champlain electoral district. In the change from the 2001 to the 2011 electoral map, it gained Lac-aux-Sables and Notre-Dame-de-Montauban from Portneuf electoral district. Following the change in the 2017 electoral map, the riding was dissolved into the new ridings of Laviolette–Saint-Maurice and Champlain. Saint-Adelphe () is a parish municipality located in the Mékinac Regional County Municipality (RCM), located in Mauricie, Quebec province, Canada. Usage includes Saint-Adelphe in the Batiscanie, common name to refer to the region. In 1885, the settlers, who came to most of Saint-Stanislas, Mauricie, Quebec, Saint-Stanislas of the two Batiscan River, Batiscan riversides, agreed to ask the bishop to erect a Catholic Parish. Notre-Dame-de-Montauban
Notre-Dame-de-Montauban () is a municipality in the Mauricie region in Quebec, Canada. The municipality is on the northern edge of Mékinac Regional County Municipality and the administrative region of Mauricie and includes the population centres of Notre-Dame-des-Anges and Montauban-les-Mines. Both communities are located along route 367 and are about apart. Tourist activities and the resort are significant industries today. The marked trails for recreational vehicles (snowmobile, ATV, etc.), the hunting, fishing and forest walks attract many visitors. Lac-aux-Sables () is a parish municipality in the Mékinac Regional County Municipality (MRC de Mékinac), in administrative district of the Mauricie region of the province of Quebec in Canada. Its population centres are Lac-aux-Sables and Hervey-Jonction. Since its origins, the sector Hervey-Jonction with 300 inhabitants, is linked to the history of Lac-aux-Sables. Hérouxville (; formerly called Saint-Timothée ) is a parish municipality in the Mékinac Regional County Municipality in the administrative region of Mauricie, in the province of Quebec, Canada. Its watershed is mainly part of the Batiscanie.
