The Champions are a team of teenaged superheroes appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The team first appears in ''Champions'' (vol. 2) #1 (October 2016) and was created by writer Mark Waid and artist Humberto Ramos. Humberto Ramos (born 27 November 1970) is a Mexican comic book penciller, best known for his work on American comic books such as ''Impulse (comics), Impulse'', ''Runaways (comics), Runaways'', ''The Spectacular Spider-Man'', ''The Amazing Spider-Man'' (serving as the co-creator of Silk (character), Cindy Moon / Silk) and his creator-owned series ''Crimson (Wildstorm), Crimson''. Amadeus Cho is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. "Outlawed" is a comic book storyline published by Marvel Comics starting with the one-shot issue ''Outlawed'' on March 18, 2020. This new event for Marvel's young heroes is set after the events of the one-shot issue '' Incoming!'' Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the physical comics for this storyline were not published. Eve Louise Ewing (born 1986) is an American sociologist, author, poet, and visual artist from Chicago, Illinois. Ewing is an associate professor at University of Chicago.
