Chamarri Conner
Chamarri Elijah Conner (born July 11, 2000) is an American football safety for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Virginia Tech. Early years Taylor grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and attended Trinity Christian Academy. He was rated a three-star recruit and committed to play college football at Virginia Tech. College career Conner played in all 13 of Virginia Tech's games during his freshman season on special teams and as a backup cornerback. He became a starter as a sophomore and primarily played in the nickelback position until his redshirt senior season, when he was moved to safety. Conner was named honorable mention All- Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) as a junior after making 81 tackles. Safety (gridiron Football Position)
Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field. While American (11-player) formations generally use two safeties, Canadian (12-player) formations generally have one safety and two defensive halfbacks, a position not used in the American game. The San Francisco 49ers (also written as the San Francisco Forty-Niners) are a professional American football team based in the San Francisco Bay Area. WFXR (channel 27) is a television station licensed to Roanoke, Virginia, United States, serving as the Fox affiliate for the Roanoke– Lynchburg market. It is owned by Nexstar Media Group alongside Lynchburg-licensed CW owned-and-operated station WWCW (channel 21).
