Girona
Girona (; ) is the capital city of the Province of Girona in the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain, at the confluence of the Ter, Onyar, Galligants, and Güell rivers. Martin Couvra
Martin Couvra (born 17 January 2003) is a French professional golfer and European Tour player. He won the 2025 Turkish Airlines Open, and previously had captured the 2023 Challenge de España to become the 7th amateur to win on the Challenge Tour. Amateur career Couvra was trained at the École de Golf de Frégate in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer. He won the 2022 French Amateur for the Coupe Murat, five strokes ahead of the runners-up. In 2023, Couvra won three trophies in the space of two weeks in South Africa. He became the first ever player to win, in the same season, the South African Stroke Play Championship and the South African Amateur Championship, including the Proudfoot Trophy as medalist of the 36-hole stroke play qualifying after a playoff with Aldrich Potgieter. Richard Mansell (golfer)
Richard Henry Mansell (born 24 April 1995) is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour, where he has won once at the 2025 Porsche Singapore Classic. Amateur career Mansell attended Nova Southeastern University from 2014 to 2017, having previously spent one season at Newberry College. Professional career Mansell turned professional in 2017 and began playing on the PGA EuroPro Tour. Ondřej Lieser
Ondřej Lieser (born 12 August 1991) is a Czech professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. In 2020 he became the first golfer from the Czech Republic to win on the Challenge Tour with victory at the Andalucía Challenge de España, and the first Czech golfer to gain a full playing card on the European Tour. He represented the Czech Republic at the 2020 Summer Olympics tournament but finished at the last place. Amateur career Lieser represented the Czech Republic at the 2012 Eisenhower Trophy. In-season changes After beginning with three tournaments in South Africa co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour, the remainder of the season was severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, with many tournaments being cancelled or postponed. Blake Windred
Blake Windred (born 3 December 1997) is an Australian professional golfer. He won the 2021 Victorian PGA Championship and qualified for the 2023 European Tour by finishing second in the 2021–22 PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit. Career Windred finished third at the 2018 AVJennings NSW Open as an amateur, and won the Avondale Amateur back-to-back in 2018 and 2019. He turned professional in October 2019 and joined the PGA Tour of Australasia, where he made the cut in 9 of his first 10 tournaments. Frédéric Lacroix (born 23 February 1995) is a French professional golfer and European Tour player. Early life and amateur career Lacroix was born in Paris and took up golf at age 8 playing at the Fourqueux golf course, after his family moved to Saint-Germain-en-Laye. At the end of 2013, Lacroix enrolled at the University of Mannheim in Germany, where he trained at Golf Club St. Leon-Rot for two and a half years. Ewen Mackenzie Stewart Ferguson (born 6 July 1996) is a Scottish professional golfer. } Santiago Tarrío Ben (born 21 November 1990) is a Spanish professional golfer who currently plays on the Challenge Tour where has won twice. Amateur career Tarrío started playing golf at the age of 7 and turned professional at the age of 17. Professional career Tarrío did not start competing internationally until 2016. He had played two events in Spain on the 2015 Alps Tour, missing the cut on each occasion. However he finished 4th at the Alps Tour Qualifying School at the end of 2015, to gain a regular place on the tour for 2016. 2021 Challenge Tour
The 2021 Challenge Tour was the 33rd season of the Challenge Tour, the official development tour to the European Tour. Changes for 2021 Similarly to 2020, the season was due to begin in February with three tournaments in South Africa co-sanctioned with the Sunshine Tour, but in mid-January the South African swing was postponed to April/May because of COVID-19 pandemic concerns. The official schedule announcement was made on 27 January 2021. In April two back-to-back events in Sweden in May were added. In-season changes In August, it was announced that the Hainan Open and the Foshan Open; both played in China, were cancelled. Victor Pastor (1937 – 2002) was a Monegasque businessman and one of the three heirs of the Monaco construction magnate Gildo Pastor. Jens Morgan Dantorp (born 28 April 1989) is a Swedish professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour. He has won three times on the Challenge Tour and was runner-up at the 2023 Soudal Open. Professional career Early years Dantorp was born in Malmö in 1998 and attended Malmö Idrottsakademi.
